– Fred Durst revealed on Chicago radio that Limp Bizkit recently turned down WWE’s offer to perform at next year’s WrestleMania 32 event. He states that part of the reason had to do with WWE kicking him out of SummerSlam for flipping off the camera. Here’s a quote from the band’s frontman:
“I got kicked out of one of their events last year I think it was, maybe the year before that, all for throwing up a f***ing birdie at the camera. I just find the whole corp aspect of it to be f***in pussiefied these days; it’s obvious why they sank so low in popularity compared to the late 90’s and early 00’s. They wanted us to do WM32 next year but f*** that. We want to do NJPW. We’d love to head over to Japan. We’re still wrestling fans. Not WWE fans.”
