With just two days to go for Avengers: Age of Ultron to release, here’s your chance to make your very own Bollywood Avengers team. How? Read on to find out
It’s Avengers week at BollywoodLife. With the second installment of Marvel’s Avengers flick, Avengers: Age of Ultron, hitting screens on April 24, the buzz and the excitement around the film is sky high.
How many of you think it would be awesomeness overload if we had our very own desi Avengers with our B-town stars in it? To add more spark to the Avengers excitement, we give you a chance to choose your own very own Bollywood Avengers team. So who do you think can fit into Hulk’s shoes? Which B-t0wn actor could portray Thor onscreen? Which B-town star has the style and swagger to play Indian version of Iron Man? The choice is yours.
Everyday, we would bring you an Avengers character and ask you to help us find his or her Bollywood counterpart. And we would announce the final team of 6 desi Avengers this Sunday. After kick starting the look out for stars who could play Black Widow and Hulk, today we will concentrate on Tony Start aka Iron Man. Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist and of course his metal suit make Tony Stark a very interesting and loved Marvel character. Played brilliantly by Robert Downey Jr, finding his Bollywood counterpart is not easy, but is not impossible either. I bring you three stars who could step into Iron Man’s shoes:
Shah Rukh Khan
The charismatic Shah Rukh Khan has a lot in common with Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Both SRK and Tony Stark are a hit with the ladies. Both Shah Rukh and Tony Stark are witty and have a superb sense of humour with a hint of sarcasm. Not just that SRK posses the coolness quotient that is required to play a character like Mr Stark. Also Shah Rukh has the experience of playing superhero in his movie Ra One, where he had a look similar to Iron Man.
Mr Khiladi of Bollywood is known to be a wily fox and has a penchant for sarcasm and wicked sense of humour. Other than pulling off death defying stunts, Akshay has the swagger to play rich, arrogant, industrialist, who becomes a superhero when he dons the suit. His quirky antics would only give a new dimension to Tony Stark’s character and I believe that Akshay is tough contender to beat in the race to find India’s Iron Man.
Ranveer Singh’s greatest strength is his energy and unpredictability. He can be spotted jumping in the streets of Mumbai sporting a Krrish suit. Also he can pull off serious roles like the one in Lootera. Ranveer is a lot like Tony Stark , when it comes personality. He has his way with the ladies, he can be witty, charming and can sweep you off your feet with his style just like Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark.
So who do you think is India’s answer to Iron Man? Vote!
