While the whole nation was divided into pro and anti Salman troops, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor was mum until now

Salman Khan and his family has been through a very tough time as the final verdict on his 2002 hit and run case was announced on May 6, 2015. The actor was convicted and sentenced to a jail term of 5 years. Ever since then, his fans and friends from within the industry have been praying and coming out in support of the actor; some even claiming that the verdict was unfair.

To the actor and his well wishers’ relief, the Bombay High Court suspended his term and asked Salman to make a fresh appeal at the Mumbai Sessions Court. Salman was then granted bail post paying a bail bond of Rs 30,000.

While his fans were raging over the verdict and fighting for him, Salman Khan had kept mum all this time. But now that the actor is finally in the comfort of his home, he decided to break his silence and express his gratitude to fans and friends who supported him all along. The actor took to his Twitter account to thank everyone. His tweet read, “All those who prayed for and supported me thank u meherbani shukriya.” The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor also posted the same message on his Facebook account.

Well we quite understand Salman’s sentiment. After all, nothing is more whelming than knowing that despite what circumstances you are in, you always have people who’ve got your back.
