Salman Khan 2002 hit and run case has reached a juncture where everybody is eager to now find out will the actor be jailed? Or will he be out on bail? On Wednesday when Mumbai Sessions Court judge DW Deshpande announced the verdict and convicted the actor of all the charges against him, he also sentenced him to five years of rigorous imprisonment. Soon after family, friends and fans took to social media to express their dismay. However, today as everyone awaits the High Court’s decision. Here are possibilities of what might actually unfold for Salman Khan….

In case the Bombay HC accepts the actor’s plea and agrees to hear the case on a later date, then he can hope for a few more days of freedom. Which means that the actor can continue to be alongside his family and even complete his pending work. And if the HC rejects the actor’s plea, then the actor will have no choice but to surrender and serve the five years of sentence in the prison.

In another case where the actor’s plea is neither accepted nor rejected by the High Court then what happens? Well, in such a situation the actor’s 2-day interim bail will be extended. Which also means that his plea application will only come for hearing in June, after the summer vacation.
