The actor has a very busy schedule but the Sony show was something he couldn’t resist
Ram Kapoor who was part of Sony TV’s Bade Acche Lagte Hain is back on the same channel with a new show, Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane. For those who remember, when Ram started working on the Ekta Kapoor show, he concentrated purely on his TV show, but when his dates clashes with his film commitments, he gave the latter more priority. The makers of the show were forced to use body doubles for the longest time in Ram’s absence.
We caught up with Ram to find out his schedule for this Mahesh Bhatt show. The actor said, “See, Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane was never in my agenda. I didn’t think I would be signing a TV show this soon, But with Mahesh Bhatt saab on board with such an interesting and new concept, I just couldn’t say no. For now I am signed a one year contract with them, let’s see how it goes.”
How much time have you given the TV show? “See I have a couple of films lined up. I have a film releasing on May 8 and two more lined up within a few months. It all depends from month to month. The months I have a film shoot, I’ll give the TV show half a month and other half to my films. There will be several months that I will be concentrating completely on Dil Ki Baatein…”
Well we definitely hope, Ram is able to stay true to his commitment, ‘coz if the makers are compelled to use body doubles, it is seriously going to ruin the feel of the show, no?
