Yes, you heard that right! Though Ms Chopra hates losing, this time she isn’t upset as she lost to Ms Ranaut…

The winners of 62nd National Film Awards were announced a while back and Kangana Ranaut has won the Best Actress award this year for her performance in Vikas Bahl’s directorial venture Queen. In the same category, the curly-haired babe’s Fashion co-star Priyanka Chopra was also nominated for essaying the role of Olympic boxing champion MC Mary Kom on the big screen. However, the talented actress-singer lost the National Award to the Tanu Weds Manu Returns heroine. While anyone else would have been bumped about not winning the prestigious award, PeeCee on the other hand is happy about losing it to Kangana. But how do we know you ask?

Well, the Bajirao Mastani actress, who is in the US shooting for her maiden international show Quantico, took to Twitter to express her excitement about her film Mary Kom winning the National Award in the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment category. The leggy beauty also congratulated Vishal Bhardwaj and Vikas Bahl for walking away with the coveted awards at the 62nd National Film Awards. While the former won in the Best Dialogues category for Haider, the latter’s film Queen was declared the Best Film (Hindi).

Priyanka then congratulated Kangana on her win. The Exotic singer wrote on Twitter, “I hate losing. But if I had to take a back seat to anyone this year it would be U #KanganaRanaut ! Congratulations! yay Queen!#SmallTownGirls.”

Now that’s what you call sporting spirit, right? Well, PC may not have bagged the National Award but she sure won millions of hearts with her performance in Mary Kom!
