The Star Trek actor recently died at the age of 83 and King Khan will miss the legendary star!
Many know Leonard Nimoy for his role of Mr. Spock, the practical human-alien who was the first officer of the Starship Enterprise in the hit television and movie series Star Trek. The actor passed away Friday morning at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles at the age of 83.
He died of a disease due to years of smoking, which he had quit 30 years ago.Shah Rukh Khan, who is a big fan of the Star Trek series bid his farewell to the Vulcan in this tweet saying, “The eyebrows….the ears….the Vulcan….just got beamed up for good….& leaves behind a void. RIP Mr. Nimoy.”

Nimoy played one of the most loved fictional characters, he inspired many generations and his signature salute became hugely popular. In the more recent sequel to the Star Trek series, titled Star Trek Into the Darkness, Zachary Quinto essayed the role of Spock. In his tribute tot he late actor Quito wrote a touching message, “my heart is broken. i love you profoundly my dear friend. and i will miss you everyday. may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.”
It is a great loss for the film industry to lose an actor of his calibre. May his soul rest in peace. Farewell Spock. Live Long and Prosper!
