Taylor Swift says that being on the road for her The 1989 Tour‘s “not that hard”! The singer recently chatted with Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw and revealed that she flies home in between shows, which is probably how she’s able to maintain her relationship with Calvin Harris!
“When I was starting out I’d go on tour for three months and I was gone for three months. Now almost 10 years in I thank God we get to play bigger shows so I don’t have to play as many,” she said. “If we’re playing stadiums, I’ll do two or three a week, not five shows a week, then I get to fly home in between. It’s not that bad.”
“It’s not that hard. It’s made out to be harder than it is.”
This is definitely nice to hear! Especially since Taylor and Calvin went public right around the time the singer left to go on tour. Can you imagine starting a new relationship and then leaving for months at a time? It’s practically a recipe for disaster. We’re so glad she’s found a way to make things work that doesn’t feel difficult!
