The teaser of Azhar was launched a couple of weeks ago. The film is all set to go on the floors.Emraan Hashmi, who plays cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in the biopic and Nargis Fakhri, who essays Sangeeta Bijlani will reportedly start shooting for the film from July 24. It starts with a cricket match being played in London. Incidentally, Emraan was prepping for the role by learning the intricacies of the game and master the stylish way in which Azhar batted. During one of the practice sessions, Emraan had even injured his wrist. However, all is well and the actor is gearing up to fly to London for the shoot.

Azhar is a biopic based on cricketer Mohammad Azhraruddin, which will showcase not only his life as a cricketer but will also present the shocking match fixing scandal he was involved in.
