No, Sanjay Gupta has not given holiday to his cast and crew to watch IPL match. Then what’s hampering the filmmaker from going ahead with the shoot

Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa is a special film in many ways. It marks the most looked forward comeback of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It has the ever brilliant Irrfan Khan starring in it. The film is all set to release on October 9. While the Jazbaa team is keen to wrap up with the shooting schedule, they seems to be experiencing hindrance in shooting. So what’s stopping Sanjay Gupta and his team?

Apparently the Jazbaa team had got the permission to shoot at the Wankhede stadium tomorrow. But it looks like the authorities have revoked the permission as the Wankhede ground will be hosting the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. A miffed Sanjay Gupta tweeted,”Tomorrow shoot cancelled because of IPL at Wankhede. We were to shoot around there. Permissions granted then revoked.”

It was the same Wankhede ground where Shah Rukh Khan had an ugly tiff with the security personnel, after which he was banned from the stadium premises. Looks like authorities decided to back out from hosting Jazbaa team for shooting stating security reasons, this decision has not gone down well with the filmmaker.
